Judge seeks mediation to resolve Seneca ills

A former Franklin County judge will attempt in May to get the co-owners of the Seneca Hotel downtown to settle a 1997 lawsuit over control of the landmark building and other investment properties in Columbus. Michael L. Close, a former Common Pleas and appellate court judge, will mediate the 42-months-long legal battle over the division of real estate among Columbus attorneys and brothers Robert N. and Samuel H.
