Eleanor Smythe has been named director of events for Patrick Properties. Smythe will oversee all events and functions for the American Theater, Fish restaurant and the William Aiken House. Smythe previously operated Barefoot Inc., a private art dealer and consulting firm in New York. Berenyi Inc. Jacob A. Cordray and Chadwell Price, Culpepper have joined Berenyi Inc. Cordray graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in landscape architecture. He will join the land planning department. Culpepper, who is studying civil and environmental engineering at The Citadel, has joined the civil engineering department. Berenyi is an architectural, surveying and engineering firm on Daniel Island. Buist, Moore G.P. Diminich has become an associate with the law firm of Buist, Moore, Smythe & McGee. Diminich has a master’s degree in taxation from the New York University School of Law and his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He also has a master’s of business administration degree from the USC Moore School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from Davidson College. He formerly worked with KPMG in Greenville as a senior tax specialist. His areas of practice include taxation, business law, estate planning, probate law and partnership law.
