Oct. 22–Bloomfield Hills-based law firm Dykema Gossett PLC announced two additions to its taxation and estates practice group: Michael Cumming of Grosse Pointe Park joins as a member and Jennifer Crawford of Birmingham joins as an associate. They will focus on estate planning, probate and trust administration and related tax matters. Sue Wagner of Lansing was appointed director of major gifts and fund development coordinator for the Michigan Women’s Foundation. She was interim executive director of the Lansing Principal Shopping District and executive director of the Michigan Alcohol Issues Forum, a statewide resource for community-based substance abuse prevention and traffic safety programs. Angela Roche joins Lansing-based Republic Bank as public funds specialist. She has more than 10 years of public funds experience. Troy-based Oxford Automotive Inc. appointed Bonnie Luternow as assistant treasurer. She was chief financial officer for Mann + Hummel Inc., a North American start-up operation of a European based automotive supplier. At its annual board of directors meeting, the Economic Club of Detroit re-elected the following officers for one-year terms: – President, William Halling. – Secretary, David Baker Lewis, chairman, Lewis & Munday P.C. – Treasurer, Donald Dailey, partner-in-charge, entrepreneurial advisory services, Price Waterhouse Coopers LLP. – Legal counsel, Duane Tarnacki, partner/member, Clark Hill PLC. Ann Cooke was re-elected to a three-year term as vice president; she is vice president-marketing and sales at Michigan Consolidated Gas Co. Kenneth Way, chairman and chief executive officer of Lear Corp., was appointed to the executive committee. Troy-based Intermet Corp. appointed Michael Becker director of foundry purchasing. He was a senior auditor at Arthur Andersen’s Auburn Hills office. Federal-Mogul Corp. promoted Robert Rozycki from director of tax to chief tax officer.
