MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY BANK, based in Los Alamos, has opened its first Albuquerque branch in Montano Plaza on Coors. L. Annette Hernandez, with 27 years’ experience in banking, has joined the Mountain Community as vice president and banking manager at the new location. She previously served with First Interstate Bank of New Mexico for 15 years. Since 1992, the bank’s assets have increased by 300 percent to $75 million.
