Six area residents have been named to the New Milford Hospital Foundation Board of Directors within the last year.
They are Kevin Dumas, Spencer Houldin, Ellen Rittman, Arthur Weinshank, Jonathan Malkin and Patricia Dyer.
Mr. Dumas, who owns and manages his own accounting firm in New Milford, received a B.S. from Providence College and an M.S. from Bentley College.
He serves as treasurer of the Roxbury Scholarship Foundation and the Annual Welfare Society of New Milford and is a member of the Board of Directors of NewMil Bancorp.
Mr. Dumas lives in Roxbury with his wife, Diana, and their two children.
Mr. Houldin, who was born in New Milford Hospital, lives in Roxbury with his wife, Carol, and their two children.
Mr. Houldin, who was educated at Lafayette College, is vice-president of Ericson Insurance and Financial Services in Washington Depot.
He serves as president of Litchfield County Independent Insurance Agents and is on the Executive Committee of Independent Agents of Connecticut.
Active in community associations, he is president of the Washington Rotary and is a member of the Golf Committee at the Washington Club.
Ms. Rittman, a resident of New Milford since 1963, was an elementary school teacher in the town�s school system for 31 years, focusing on the educational needs of learning disabled children.
